Stayed at the Davis hotel for 2 nights and found it to be very clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful and always courteous. It was a bit of a trip to the main shopping area but this meant it was quiet around the hotel which was a plus. My only criticism was that WiFi was only available in the hotel lobby which was inconvenient. Apart from that i would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Corner Wing studio room was good. Breakfast was ok, nothing to shout about. Service staff tend to be concentrated in the main wing not the corner wing. But when the staff are in the main wing, they are attentive and polite. Overall good experience.

This was actually the third time I stayed with my wife and daughter at Davis Hotel in Bangkok. This time we booked the presidential suite. I would say that all rooms at Davis are spacious and very cosy. Unfortunately the windows can not be opened. The location of Davis is actually very good. A lot of good tailors and several restaurants nearby. The next shopping mall is about 10 minutes walking from the hotel. No problem to get a taxi when driving to larger shopping malls. The breakfast at Davis is according their statement “unbelievable”. If you like 1 minute boiled egg, eating bacon like chewing on rubber, scrambled eggs which are made of egg yolk only, not fried but warm sausages, than it would be the right place for having breakfast. In my opinion the breakfast deserves 1 to 2 stars only. Davis needs some professional help for serving a better breakfast. We preferred to have our breakfast at “bei Otto” which is only 5 minutes drive with a taxi from the hotel. They have got every kind of breakfast for your needs. Calling a taxi by the reception for driving us to the airport is very weak. 800 Baht without switching on the taxa meter. Also driver drove 120Km/h in a 80 Km zone. Car had some critical safety issues. Davis needs to improve that service a lot. A normal taxi takes about 400 Baht. However, we like the rooms and will stay at the Davis again.
